Bio
Erin narrates and produces both solo and full cast audiobooks. Nonfiction is her current focus, but character work is her favorite part of voice acting. Her training at Berkeley Repertory School of Theater in voice over, improv, acting and dialect fuels her love of theater and is a departure from her Industrial Design degree which serves as the basis for geeking out about booth design and acoustics. She prides herself in bringing the same authenticity and care to characters in voice that authors do in their writing.
Erin is a proud Oaklander, but still has a soft spot for tales of the Southwest where she grew up in the heart of the Sonoran desert.
Audible Listener
"What makes the book special is the compassionate way author Katie Duncan presents the information, and narrator Erin Grassie reads it... Grassie's gentle voice especially helps the reader ease into what could otherwise be an uncomfortable subject."
Laurie McMillan,
Author
"Your voice has so much personality, clarity, and also so soothing! [It] was everything we were looking for and more. We knew you were the perfect person to help little ones fall asleep.
Thanks again and yes your last little goodnight was a great addition."
Roxanne Howe-Murphy, EdD, Author
"I was looking for warm, welcoming, grounded and
open-hearted vocal qualities to convey the depth of the material in an accessible way to those new to the subject matter. Erin’s voice matched my needs beautifully.
She communicated descriptive and graphic text along with
story-telling.
I couldn’t have asked for more."
